1. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care
This Site is for general informational purposes only. It is not intended to provide, and does not constitute, medical or mental health emergency services. If you are experiencing a crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. We are not able to monitor this website, email, or contact forms for emergencies.
2. No Clinician-Client Relationship Formed by Site Use
Browsing this Site, submitting a contact form, or emailing us does not establish a therapist-client relationship. A clinician-client relationship begins only after formal intake, informed consent, and mutual agreement to begin services, consistent with applicable Indiana licensing requirements.
3. Scope of Services and Licensure
Sylvia McGuire, LCSW, PMH-C, is licensed to practice in the State of Indiana. Services are generally available to individuals located in Indiana at the time of the session, consistent with state licensing law and any applicable telehealth regulations. We reserve the right to decline or refer out services that fall outside our scope of practice, competence, or licensure.

Any blog posts, articles, resources, or general content provided on this Site are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for individualized clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment, and do not create a therapist-client relationship. 5. Appointments, Fees, and Cancellations
Scheduling, fees, session length, payment methods, and cancellation policies will be provided directly to clients during intake and outlined in a separate Informed Consent / Client Services Agreement signed prior to beginning services.
Insurance, superbill, and out-of-network reimbursement details, if applicable, will also be addressed separately at intake.
